Kaiyun Spring is proud to manufacture compression springs that withstand different stress levels. This is regardless of application, whether loading or deflecting. It’s important to note that stress and stress range dictate the life of the spring. If the stress range is high, the greatest stress level should be lower for a longer life. If the spring experiences static loads only or if the stress range is low, high stresses may be used, without having an adverse effect on the spring life.
When we design and fabricate any custom spring we are careful to bear in mind purpose, compressing forces and spring rate. “Spring rate” is calculated by measuring the weight required to compress a spring by one inch.
